Hello! My name is Zuzana and I am 29 years old. 

How I got to teaching languages: Six years ago, thanks to my knowledge of Hungarian, I was offered my first language course. I started teaching in language schools, where I gathered experience and realized how much beauty and creativity it offers. Now I only teach privately, because it gives me more freedom in the way I want to teach. 

Certification: I have a CAE (C1) certificate in English and Hungarian is my native language. Since I have lived in Prague my whole life, I also speak Czech at the same level.  

Methods and style of teaching: I teach adults English, Hungarian and Czech for foreigners in Stodůlky in Prague, or online. I approach everyone individually,  according to their goals, learning style and strengths. It is important to me to teach in a happy and relaxed mood, without pressure on your pace of learning. Besided using textbooks, I always enrich the lessons with fun activities (videos, crosswords, songs, fairytales, stories, comics, board games etc.) If you prefer learning while walking, I will gladly go outside to a park or the city centre, or a picnic with you. The greatest reward for me is when I see interest and joy even with people who initially had none. My goal is for you to leave each class looking forward to the next one  and with the feeling that it had a sence. 

Learning languages through art: I newly decided to combine painting, which is a great hobby of mine, with teaching in my Language courses through art. Check my IG z.mandaly for more of my artwork.

Translation: Apart from teaching, I translate from English and Czech into Hungarian, and from Hungarian and English into Czech. My experience so far includes translations of questionnaires, product descriptions, board game instructions, subtitles, Facebook and Instagram pages of KetoMix and e-shops Blueroad or Veselá Veverka etc.
